Pope Benedict XVI, Mass of Installation Homily, April 24 2005
To open our lives to the truth and love of Christ, this is the mission of Cornerstone. We are a group of young adults who wish to further our understanding of our most holy Roman Catholic faith and identity and to bring this to the world. Through our own shared experiences of faith and hope in Jesus and His Church we want to build up the Catholic community in our area, hopefully becoming beacons of mercy, or "Alter Christus", to those around us. Cornerstone exists to make saints. Eucharistic adoration, Marian devotion, and traditional Catholic piety along with catechesis is what we have been given to make us into those saints. We wish to bring this to the cities, and to the world. Urbi Et Orbi, to the city and the world.
"Christ is also the Savior of men and women today. Who will make this message of hope resound, in a credible way, in every corner of the earth?... God became man in Jesus Christ... He brings to all the love of the Father in heaven. He is the Savior of the world! Do not be afraid, open your hearts to him and receive him, so that his Kingdom of love and peace may become the common legacy of each man and woman."
